With schools closed and classes moved into the home, Team GB’s Get Set programme has put together a range of free activities, challenges and learning resources to support parents and teachers across the country.

Get Set uses the Olympic and Paralympic values to help children aged 5-18 to get active, learn about the history of the Games and investigate the science and technology behind sport.

Travel to Tokyo‘ is a campaign to help get families moving but collectively travelling the distance from London to Tokyo by logging activity online.

It aims to help children aged 5–11 to develop healthy, active habits by encouraging them to try new things, get active and have fun. Travelling in teams, children follow a virtual journey of athletes heading to Tokyo next year, exploring Japan, discovering more about the Games and finding new ways to enjoy getting active together with their families.

Also included are lots of resources to bring the challenge to life. These include Tokyo Ten Activity Guides, presentations to launch the activity with teachers and pupils, and activities to try at home. These have been organised into Parent and Teacher resources to make it easy to find the type of activities you need.
