Min Grade: 7th Mon / Orange Belt (3 min contests, no arm locks or strangles allowed)

Pre-Cadet and Minor Girls: -44kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, +57kg

Pre-Cadet and Minor Boys: -38kg, -42kg, -46kg, -50kg, -55kg, -60kg, +60kg

Cadets and Juniors: Born  2007, 2008, 2009, 2010

Min Grade: 10th Mon / Green Belt (4 min contests, arm locks and strangles allowed)

Cadet and Junior Girls: -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, +63kg

Cadet and Junior Boys: -50kg, -55kg, -60kg, -66kg, -73kg, -81kg, +81kg

Seniors (Must be a minimum of 14 years of age on day of event)

Minimum Grade: 1st Kyu / Brown Belt (4 min contest)

Women: -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, +70kg

Men: -66kg, -73kg, -81kg, -90kg, +90kg

Players in the Minors / Pre-Cadet teams will compete under Technical Restrictions, with no strangles (shime-waza) and arm locks (kansetsu-waza) permitted. The Minors/ Pre Cadet section comes under level 3 event rules, including matside coaching rules.

All other age groups follow level 4 event rules.
