FREE Coach Revalidation Opportunity at Play Their Way Coach Engagement Day

British Judo coaches are invited to take advantage of a FREE Coach Revalidation opportunity at the upcoming Play Their Way British Judo Coach Engagement Day.
Taking place at the British Judo National Training Centre in Walsall on Saturday 24 October 2026, the event is completely FREE to attend and is a licensed British Judo Coach Revalidation event.
The day provides coaches with an excellent opportunity to complete a revalidation event at no cost, while developing their knowledge and gaining practical ideas to enhance the experience of children and young people within judo.
For licensed British Judo coaches requiring a revalidation event, the Play Their Way Coach Engagement Day offers the chance to:
- Attend completely FREE of charge
- Complete a licensed British Judo Coach Revalidation event
- Gain practical ideas and tools to take back to your club
- Develop your understanding of child-first coaching
- Learn alongside and share ideas with other British Judo coaches
Delivered in partnership with Play Their Way, the day will explore how coaches can put the voice, needs and enjoyment of children and young people at the heart of their coaching.
The programme will combine workshops, observation and practical activities, including an introduction to the Play Their Way movement, a session exploring children’s rights and child-first coaching, coaching observation and opportunities to consider how the principles can be applied within everyday judo sessions.
Coaches will also have time to reflect on their learning and consider practical changes they can introduce within their own club environments.
Whether you are looking to complete your coach revalidation requirements or simply want to further develop your coaching practice, the day offers a valuable opportunity to learn, share ideas and develop – all completely FREE of charge.
