AASE enrolment day

British Judo has enrolled its next cohort onto the AASE programme. Forty candidates from around the country have been successful in applying for a place on the two year apprenticeship programme which allows players to train for a minimum of 16 hours per week at one of eight British Judo Performance Pathway Centres whilst gaining valuable UCAS points for future education.
James Thomas, Performance Pathway Senior Manager, said: ‘British Judo has increased its focus on the AASE programme and is now a key part of the Performance Pathway that aims to progress players onto a full time programme at the British Judo Centre of Excellence. This years cohort has some of highest standard of players since the programme began. I am looking forward to seeing the players progress over the next two years.”
The application window for AASE 2016 will start shortly.
