Together Fund
***Please be advised that applications have now ceased for this fund, due to funding being exhausted***
Background
This fund exists to help to reduce the negative impact of coronavirus and help community groups working with target audiences to grow and help more people.
The Together Fund is a continuation of the Tackling Inequalities Fund (TIF) that was set up in April 2020 as part of Sport England’s support package to help the sport and physical activity sector through the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis.
The Together Fund will be spent on these priority audiences:
- Lower socio-economic groups (LSEG);
- Culturally diverse communities;
- Disabled people;
- People with long-term health conditions.
Grants are available to support revenue funded activities such as coaching, equipment (not long-term replacement) and member costs (please see the FAQ document for the funding criteria).
You must be a not-for-profit organisation/company and have a minimum of three unrelated/non-cohabiting trustees or directors. All applications will be checked with Companies House to ensure compliance for Sport England funding.
Since its launch, TIF has enabled community groups to continue to exist and engage with their communities, supporting people to be engaged and active. The Together Fund is intended to help further growth and recovery of community organisations working with target audiences.
Please note: all funding is subject to Sport England’s approval
