First Aid 4 Judo – Bromley – 21 Mar 26
March 21, 2026
First Aid for Judo is a practical, judo-specific course covering the injuries and emergencies most likely to happen on the mat — from falls and fractures to concussion, choking and cardiac arrest. You’ll learn what to do, what not to do, and when to escalate, with clear, coach-friendly scenarios. BJA recognised, ideal for coaches, volunteers, and club welfare leads.
To book onto First Aid for Judo (BJA recognised), we just need:
Full name
Age (learners must be age-appropriate for the course)
Judo club (and role if relevant: coach/parent/volunteer)
Prior first aid knowledge is recommended but not required — we’ll cover everything you need on the day, step-by-step, with judo-specific scenarios.
Please be aware the course sometimes covers real-life emergencies and injuries, which some people may find upsetting. If at any point you need a pause, that’s absolutely fine.
It’s also a practical session, so you’ll need to be able to take part in physical activities such as CPR on the floor (kneeling/bending down and getting back up).
What to wear: comfortable clothing you can move in (sportswear is ideal). No judogi is required, but you should be dressed to safely demonstrate and practise techniques.
