Amelia Alder Represents GB at Skopje Junior European Cup

It’s a rare quiet weekend for British Judo on the international stage, with just one British judoka set to compete abroad at the Skopje Junior European Cup.

Amelia Alder (JC Osaka) will be the sole British entry in Skopje, jumping straight back into action following a 7th-place finish in the -52kg category at last weekend’s Birmingham Junior European Cup.

That marked Alder’s second top-seven finish on the Junior European circuit this year, having also placed 7th at the Malaga Junior European Cup in March.

She’ll be looking to build on last week’s strong performance and push for a spot on the podium this time around.
