2025 AGM Calling Notice

Dear Clubs,

2025 Annual General Meeting

Please accept this letter as formal notice that the Annual General Meeting of the British Judo Association which will take place on:

Date:               Saturday 1 November 2025
Start Time:     16:30
Venue:            Walsall Campus, University of Wolverhampton, Gorway Road, Walsall, WS1 3BD

Resolutions:  Must be submitted in writing proposed by a Member Club and seconded by another Member Club and signed by the duly authorised signatory of each Member Club (i.e. Chair or Secretary).  The Board of Directors may also propose Resolutions.

Copies of any resolutions will be sent to all eligible member clubs at least 28 days prior to the AGM. In order to ensure that every Member Club is given the opportunity to have a say in all relevant issues and to ensure greater participation in deciding the future of the Association, mail proxy voting for all Resolutions will be accepted at the AGM.

Completed required documentation and Resolutions:  must be forwarded in writing to arrive no later than close of business on Wednesday 20 August 2025 to:

TECHNICAL CONFERENCE 1ST & 2ND NOVEMBER 2025: In conjunction with the AGM, we are also running a two day technical conference on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 November, with sessions being led by Shinji Hosokawa 8^th Dan. Full details and the registration form can be found here.
