UK Coaching Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop (Face-to-Face)

This workshop is a face-to-face in-person workshop suitable for coaches and welfare officers. This course is open to sports outside of judo.

Accredited by UK Coaching, this workshop will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career.

Location: Activities Hub, above Bar UNO at the Ffriddoedd Halls site. University of Bangor, Ffriddoedd Rd, Bangor, Wales, LL57 2JW
Time: 10:00 to 13:00 (Please arrive 15mins early so the course may begin on-time)

Learners must be:

• A minimum of 16 years of age to attend the workshop.
• 16-17 year olds must be accompanied by parent/guardian, coach or mentor (over 18).
• Able to communicate effectively in English.
