Full British Olympic Squad to compete at British Open at K2 Crawley on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May

British Judo’s 28-strong Olympic squad, including 2012 European bronze medallist Karina Bryant, will all compete at the British Open, a European Judo Union recognised European Cup event, at K2 Crawley on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May.

Karina Bryant will be joined in the +78kg category by Sarah Adlington while Sam Lowe battles in the -78kg field.

Sally Conway, Gemma Gibbons and Megan Fletcher all contest the -70kg category with Faith Pitman, the returning Gemma Howell and 16-year-old Cadets European Champion Katie-Jemima Yeats-Brown seeing action at -63kg.

Connie Ramsey and Sarah Clark, who finished in fifth-place at the European Championships, compete at -57kg while Sophie Cox campaigns at -52kg.

 

Kelly Edwards, Kimberley Renicks and 16-year-old Junior World bronze medallist Hayley Willis contest the -48kg category.

Ashley McKenzie and James Millar compete at -60kg with Colin Oates in action at -66kg and -73kg pair Danny Williams and Max Stewart also bidding for European Cup glory.

Euan Burton and Tom Reed take to the -81kg category as Matthew Purssey and Winston Gordon join Michael Horley and Ben Fletcher in an intriguing -90kg category.

James Austin competes at -100kg with Chris Sherrington in +100kg action.
