Volunteer Opportunities at Junior European Cup

Be Part of the Action: Volunteer at the Junior European Cup 2025!

British Judo is excited to announce that we are now recruiting volunteers for the upcoming Junior European Cup, taking place from 24–27 July 2025 at the University of Wolverhampton, Walsall Campus.

This prestigious international event will see some of Europe’s most talented young judoka compete on British soil — and we need your help to make it a success!

Event Schedule:

Thursday 24 July: Venue Set-Up

Friday 25 July: Continued Set-Up, Athlete Arrivals & Accreditation

Saturday 26 July: Competition Day 1

Sunday 27 July: Competition Day 2

Volunteer Roles Available:

Camera Operators: Support the referee team by operating replay cameras and contributing to the live stream coverage.

Ceremony Assistance: Support the medal ceremonies to ensure smooth running of the medal presentations and athlete marshalling.

General Event Support: Helping with logistics, athlete guidance, and ad-hoc tasks throughout the event.

No prior experience is necessary — training will be provided on-site.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Gain valuable experience in event operations
  • Meet new people and support the judo community
  • Watch world-class junior judo live from the sidelines!
