Train with the German Junior Squad at the Centre of Excellence
December 13, 2013
GB athletes are being offered a unique opportunity to train with the German National Junior Squad this week as they pay a visit to the association’s Centre of Excellence, in Walsall.
The juniors are spending some time in the UK and will be training out of British Judo’s new state-of-the-art facility before moving on to the C2 Training Camp at Tonbridge.
During their time at the centre, at the University of Wolverhampton Walsall Campus, the team will be taking part in a number of randori sessions, which as well as involving the full-time Centre of Excellence players, are open to all.
The sessions not only include the weekly National Squad Randori but also some additional randori sessions as follows:
Tuesday 17th December
10:00-12:00 and 19:30-21:30
Wednesday 18th December
10:00-12:00 and 20:00-21:30
Thursday 19th December
10:00-12:00
The randori sessions are open to anyone who feels they are at the required standard.
Tuesday 17th’s National Randori is also the last of 2013 with sessions resuming on Tuesday 7th January 2014.
