Still time to register for technical roles at Glasgow 2014
May 29, 2013
The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games – one of the biggest competitions since the Olympics, is just over a year away and as well as all the judo athletes and volunteers taking part, it would not happen without technical officials.
The BJA is reminding technical officials that applications for Registration of Interest for National Officials for the event next July are still open and both this and the selection procedure is available on the website.
The process is open to Referees of national level or above and Table Officials of Senior Recorder level or above. Priority will be given to members of JudoScotland and other BJA officials will make up any shortfall. Applications should be returned directly to the Glasgow 2014 team.
Anyone interested in registering to become an NTOs should return their completed Registration of Interest form to Simone Callender, Judo Competition Manager either by email at simone.callender@glasgow2014.com You can also call her up on 030 2014 1492
Click here to download the form. Selection criteria is also available here.
The closing date for applications is 28 June 2013. Any applications received after that date will not be considered.
