Stephanie Inglis

British Judo is saddened to hear that Stephanie Inglis has been involved in a serious road accident whilst living and participating in an Internship in Vietnam.

Stephanie is a valued member of the British Judo community and the JudoScotland Performance Squad, with a Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games silver medal and numerous national championships medals to her name.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Stephanie and her family at this extremely difficult time.

The judo family has already come together to support Stephanie with medical expenses through a GoFundMe page set up on her behalf, raising over £50,000 overnight. Click here to donate.

Ronnie Saez, British Judo Chairman, said: “The tragic news that Steph Inglis has been involved in a life threating road traffic incident and is fighting for her life, has hit myself and the Judo community hard. I am grateful of the generosity and tremendous response from the judo community who have already raised an astounding amount of money towards Steph’s medical costs.  The thoughts and prayers of judoka both at home and internationally are with Steph and her family.”
