Olympic and Paralympic medallists head to Cornwall

A star-studded trio of Olympic and Paralympic medallists will be joining Mid Cornwall Judo Kwai for a training weekend to mark the club’s 25th anniversary on August 3rd and 4th – a year to the date that Karina Bryant won her bronze medal for Britain.
Double Olympic silver medallist Neil Adams will joined by two London 2012 stars Olympian Karina Bryant and Paralympian Ben Quilter who both took bronze.
Saturday’s morning session will begin with Ben Quilter. After lunch Neil Adams will take to the mat.
An evening buffet with Q&A session with all three guests will follow before the evening Randori session with Neil Adams that is available to all seniors and 14 years + blue belt and above.
This two hour tach-waza and ne-waza session will include guests Ben and Karina as guests on the mat for uke rotation.
Sunday’s morning and afternoon sessions will both be taken by Olympian Karina Bryant and will be available for all levels.
The training weekend is open to all students young and old with a judo license, at a cost of £30 per person.
