“I’m looking forward to going to Astana because I’ve never been to that part of the world before and so it would be good to go out there. My training and preparation has been going really well. I’m really looking forward to putting in a good performance and fighting to the best of my ability and hopefully the results will come.

“I think it’s very important (to have a good World Championships) as there’s a lot of points on offer and obviously points put you up the ranking list which means you need to be in the top 14 for women so it’ll be good to put myself in a good place to go into next year ready to qualify.”
