Jonathan Cooke recognised in New Years Honours List

Kookateki Judo Club has the honour of informing you that Jonathan Cooke our senior club coach has been recognised in the Queen’s New Years Honours List. Jonathan has been awarded the Medal of the Order of the British Empire – BEM – for services to Cross Community Relations through Sport in Northern Ireland.
Jonathan said, “I am absolutely delighted to have received this award and am very proud of everyone at Kookateki. This award recognises the work and achievements of all our members, coaches, volunteers, parents and the support of the schools and local community, without whom there would be no club!”
