GB Team Set for European University Games
The GB University judo team has been finalised ahead of the European University Games in Miskolc, Hungary starting on Thursday 11 July.
Twenty judoka studying at universities across the UK have been selected following medal-winning performances at the British University Championships (BUCS) earlier this year.
The University of Teesside will be represented by Geraldine Chung (-52kg), Eleanor Whitmore (+78kg) and Joe McNeill (-90kg).
Durham University, Anglia Ruskin University, the University of Wolverhampton and the University of Birmingham will all be represented by two judoka.
