The Gathering 2025 with Tato Grigalashvili – 13 and 14 Sep 25 – Glasgow

We are honoured to welcome Tato Grigalashvili as our headline guest for this year’s event. At just 25 years old, Tato has firmly established himself as one of the most dominant and electrifying judoka on the world stage. His accolades include being a three-time World Champion, Olympic Silver Medallist, three-time European Champion, and a two-time IJF World Masters Champion, along with numerous medals on the IJF World Tour.

Tato’s judo embodies the essence of the Georgian style—an exhilarating fusion of traditional wrestling roots and modern judo techniques. This approach is characterised by explosive throws, unyielding grip fighting, and a relentless fighting spirit. His dynamic performances have not only earned him a place in judo history but also make him an inspiration to judoka worldwide.

For 2025, we’re opening the mat to judoka aged 12 and above. Whether you’re a judoka, coach, or official, the Gathering offers:

Please note that the JudoScotland Gathering is a participation-only event. To ensure a safe and focused environment for all judoka, there are no designated spectator areas. We thank you for your understanding and support in helping us create a positive experience for everyone involved.

Additionally, the evening social event is strictly for individuals aged 18 and over, in accordance with licensing laws in Scotland. Identification may be required for entry.
