Please LET US KNOW if you are going to attend a grading. This will reduce the chances of cancellation due to low numbers. This is especially important for female, masters and all Dan grade judoka. The Southern Area will do everything possible to run each grading.

All grading’s run with the Southern Area Promotions Sub-committee in attendance, with (inter)national referees and first aid support.

Competitive Skills Theory examinations (£10 fee for 1^st Dan and 2^nd Dan; £15 fee for 3^rd Dan and 4^th Dan) and Technical Dan Grading examinations (£20 fee for 1^st Dan and 2^nd Dan) can also be conducted on the day if arranged in advance.
