EJU “Kata for all” Course – 11 and 12 Apr 26 – Bishops Stortford

April 11, 2026 - April 12, 2026

The course will be led by Dr Slavisa Bradic Head EJU Kata Commissioner and all participants attendng both days will receive an EJU diploma. Content will cover:-

Day 1 – Coaches learning
• Kata for children and youth
• Kata for competition training
• Kata for the elderly
• Competition kata and judging

Day 2 – Coaches practical
Morning – learning methodical procedures to teach kata in an an engaging way
Afternoon – Children from a local club will join the session allowing coaches to practice practical applications of course learning working with 1 or 2 pairs of children

Further information:

Applicants should be minimum Level 1 coach and minimum grade of 2nd Kyu

White Judogi must be worn.

Grades over 5th Dan must wear a Black Belt but may wear their red/white belt for course photograph

Dates/Times: Saturday 11th April – 10:00-17:00 and Sunday 12th April 2026 – 09:00-16:00

Venue: Bishop Stortford Judo Club, Herts and Essex Sports centre, Bishop Stortford CM23 5LH

Cost: £75 for 2 days or £40 for 1 day

Bookings close: 30th March 2026
