British Judo Chairman Kerrith Brown has been honoured by the European Judo Union (EJU) while attending the u23 European Championships in Prague, Czech Republic.
The 1984 Olympic bronze medallist was recognised for his outstanding competitive career as the EJU highlighted the success of some of the continent’s finest judoka with a number of presentations.
The presentation was made by Michal Vachun (EJU Vice President) and Jiri Dolejs (Czech Judo Federation President).
Kerrith Brown said: “I would like to thank the EJU and Czech Judo Federation for honouring me with a Special Career Award. I am indeed very proud to be honoured in this way.”
