Rastin Fallahdar (Budokwai) will take to the -73kg category for his first international event of 2026. He will be joined in the division by Harry Le Mare (Camberley JC) and Akraman Hoshal (Palavani).

Benjamin Fox Kennedy (Sportif) is Britain’s sole representative in the -81kg category.

Samuel Petgrave (Westcroft JC) heads into the -90kg category in strong European form, having finished fifth at the Riga Senior European Cup earlier this year. He will be joined by Cameron Hickey (Camberley JC) and Jared Sey (Budokwai).

Summer Shaw (Camberley JC) will compete in the -52kg category, looking to continue a strong year which has seen her win bronze on her Commonwealth Games debut, as well as bronze at the Tallinn European Open and fifth at the Prague European Open.

Maria Moss (Subarashi JC) rounds out the squad in the -70kg category. She will compete at her third European competition of 2026 as she looks to produce her best performance of the year so far.

Good luck to the whole squad in Malaga, as well as James McBeath, Natasha Maslen and Tony Devoy, who will be refereeing at the event!
