A guide to the modernised Dan Grade syllabus starting 1st Jan 2026 – Swinton Judo Club – 31 Aug 25

This course is part of a National Program to update all members on the modernised Dan Grade processes and techniques to start on 1st Jan 2026

This course is mandatory for all Senior Examiners to revalidate from 1st Jan 2026 for 3 years
All attending SEs will also convert to carrying out Kata exams for Nage-no-kata, Katame-no-kata and Gonosen-no-kata up to Level 2.

Coaches will benefit from gaining an understanding of the changes to the grading structure when preparing their judoka for promo-tion and also update their knowledge of the 100 IJF/Kodokan techniques, which are also part of the IJF Academy coaching program, whilst being signposted to all resources available.

Please bring packed lunch.

Requirements: Senior Examiner and or a qualified coach.
