DESCRIPTION:Details: \nThe course is aimed at players wanting Competitive Dan Grade Skills preparation and assessment.\nThere will be assessments at the end of the course and also\, to some extent\, continual assessment\nduring the course.\nThe course will cover the kata element for 1st and 2nd dan ONLY – candidates not fluent in kata who\nwant higher grade assessments should attend a kata course such as the one the day before this\ncourse\, also at the Samurai club. \nBooking & Times: \nCourse fee £20 (includes assessment where needed).\nPay on the day (cash or cheque) but book in advance by email to: club@samuraijudo.uk\nClosing date for bookings: April 11 or when event is full if earlier.\nCourse starts promptly at 10am on the mat (club open 9.30 to book in).Course is expected to end at 4.30pm with assessments possible afterwards. \nTechnical Dan Grade: \nThis course is aimed at competitive skills assessment. We aim to have players start competing within an hour of their weigh-in and finish not more than an hour after that\, but we can never guarantee this: a few contests with very long golden scores soon wrecks our plans\, as does no-shows. \nPlease make sure your players bring their BJA membership books and not just rely on the app. \nPlayers weigh in wearing judogi bottoms and a t-shirt \n  \nGroup A: Level One event.
