Due to overwhelming demand, British Judo are proud to announce that the our second “Shaping the Future” National Conference for Coaches featuring world-renowned EJU expert Hiroshi Katanishi is close to selling out for a second time!
Over 90 keen coaches and judoka took to the mat in Walsall in February and were awed by Katanishi’s coaching style and expertise.
Mr Katanishi has a vast experience in developing both players and coaches since arriving in Europe after graduating from Terni University (Japan). During his time here in Europe, he has coached the French National Judo Team, been Technical Advisor for the Swiss National Team and regularly coaches at the renowned Italian Camp ‘Tre Torre’.
Since 2003 he has also been recognised as the judo expert for the European Judo Union and delivers workshops on improving technical excellence in a way appealing to all.
This Conference, the second to be held in 2018, is part of an on-going process of engagement with coaches, will consist of a variety practical tachi-waza and ne-waza sessions as part of our drive to continue to ‘Raise Technical Standards’ and help guide the direction of future programmes and initiatives.
The Coaching sessions will be led by European Judo Union coaching expert, Hiroshi Katanishi who has just been awarded his 8th Dan in recognition of his expertise in judo and the variety of work that he does in seminars across the world. Katanishi conveys his expertise in a way that is appealing to all, so book now to avoid missing out on this unique experience. Mr Katanishi maybe supported by other EJU coaching experts.
