DESCRIPTION:Categories:\nThis is a dan grading for men and women currently graded 1st kyu to 4th dan.\nThis follows our previous extremely successful gradings\, we average over 60 players at each\ngrading and usually have sufficient high grades that men can be graded to 5th dan on the day and\nwomen have line-ups and points for up to 4th dan. We therefore confidently expect a high turnout of\nall grades for this grading.\nMasters will be paired together where reasonably possible. \nWeigh-in Times Changed\nBecause of the large entry (even by our usual numbers)\, the weigh-in times have changed and are now: \nMale 1st kyu: 9.30 – 9.50 am\nAll women: 12.30 – 1.00 pm\nMale Dan grades: 2.00 – 2.30 pm \nEligibility:\nAll candidates must hold current BJA membership and be a minimum of 15 years of age. Candidates\nmust be BJA 1st kyu or above. Players holding AJA or BJC grades and wishing to convert to BJA\ngrades are also welcome\, please contact us by email to discuss\, well in advance of the event.\nFor dan grades\, please note that it is the COMPETITIVE dan grade which is the relevant grade. For\nexample\, a competitive 2nd dan who holds a technical 3rd dan is regarded for the purposes of this\ngrading as a 2nd dan. \nLate Entries \nWe are still accepting entries.
