SUMMARY:NHC Koshiki no kata course - 15 Mar 26 - Wokingham
DESCRIPTION:The aim of this course is to introduce players to Koshiki-no-kata (Form of the antique things). This kata consists of 21 techniques delivered into a kata in order to preserve the historical source of judo. The set of forms is antique and were intended for “Kumi-uchi”\, the grappling of armoured warriors in the feudal ages. As such\, the kata is to be performed with both partners imagining that\nthey are clad in armor. \nThis is a British Judo Association Licensed Coach Education Course which is worth one credit. All applicants must hold a current FULL BJA (or affiliated body) membership & be a minimum grade of 3rd Kyu (Green Belt). This kata consists of 15 techniques and it teaches the theory of the skilful application of flexibility in order to defeat strength and it was developed to study how to lift up a body and understand the ways of different fighting methods.
