Olympians ready for action in Cuba

Great Britain will be hoping for more medals at opposite ends of the weight spectrum with both Ashley McKenzie and Chris Sherrington representing Great Britain at the Grand Prix in Havana, Cuba, that takes takes place this weekend, between Friday 6 and Sunday 8 June.
European bronze medallist McKenzie (-60kg) is hoping that Cuba will bring him luck as last time he crossed the Atlantic Ocean he struck gold in the Pan American Open. He fights on Friday.
Royal Marine Sherrington (+100kg) has also had success in the region, with a silver at Montevideo and a seventh in Buenos Aires. He fights on Sunday.
With a total of 35 Olympic medals (6 gold, 13 silver and 16 bronze) and 67 world medals (17 gold, 18 silver, 32 bronze), Cuba has been for many years one of the leading countries in the judo world.
