Following a meeting of the BJA Performance Team, and the subsequent ratification from the PMG, the following athletes meet the FIRST STAGE criteria outlined in the 2017 Senior World Championships Selection Policy Document, and have therefore been selected to represent Great Britain at the 2017 Senior World Championships to be held from 28 August – 2 September, in Budapest, Hungary:

These First Stage Selections have been made and announced within the timelines set out in the 2017 Senior World Championships Selection Policy document being week 21, week commencing 22 May – 10 weeks prior to the event.
Second Stage and Final Selections for the 2017 Senior World Championships will be made and announced no later than week 28, week commencing 10th July.
All selections will be dependent on athletes adhering to the BJA’s Performance Programme and Code of Conduct Policy. Failure to do so will lead the panel to section 23 (de-selection considerations).
