As communicated in the GB Memo dated the 8th of August 2022, GB Judo and the Home Nation Programmes were considering the feasibility of the Cadet Futures Training Camp taking place in Japan.

Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions still being high in Japan, travel to the country and access to the dojos and schools/universities is not possible. Therefore, the decision has been made to move the location to Paris, France.

The Pathway Commission felt that this location was the most suited to provide the technical and physical experience for both male and female cadets, together with having a strong club system and connecting to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Although all involved are disappointed not to be travelling to Japan, all are confident and excited that the Cadet Futures 2022 will be of an extremely high standard.

Identifications will be made the week of the 29th August and nominated fighters will receive communication from their Home Nation Programme.
