The British Junior Ranking system operates in line with the IJF Competition format. Ranking points are given for Home Country Open Championships, the British Championships and International Championships. The top eight placings at each event are awarded points (as long as at least one contest is won) and the top three results contribute to placing on the British Ranking List.

The Ranking List is primarily used for seeding proposes at ranking competitions and culminating at the British Championships in December. Also where appropriate, to identify Home Country Squads each year.

The GB Junior Squad will be selected from the results from the British Championships in December.

For further information on selection policies please refer to your home country individual squad selection policy.
