DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS NOW FULLY BOOKED\nSafeguarding\nCourse fee: £40.00 per course \nDate: 24th November 2024 \nVenue: Dartford Judo Club Cotton Lane\, Stone\, Dartford DA2 6PD \nSafeguarding Course Overview \nThis workshop will raise your awareness of the tell-tale signs of abuse\, and give you the tools and confidence you need to deal with any issues sensitively\, appropriately and effectively should the need ever arise in your coaching career. \nThis interactive workshop will help coaches recognise poor practice and the red flags of abuse\, while also prompting a review of your coaching practice to ensure that you provide a positive and enriching experience for all children. \nNearly half a million coaches have been through the Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop in the last 20 years or so. \nThe workshop\, updated in May 2019\, has been developed in partnership with the NSPCC and CPSU and includes new scenarios giving you the opportunity to learn through discussion\, exploring the consequences of those decisions in a safe and supportive environment\, helping to increase your confidence. \nThe course has been awarded 3 CPD points by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). \nTimes: 09:30 – 12:30 \n\n
