DESCRIPTION:NHC Area Training – Randori Session \nDate: Sunday\, 12th April 2026 \nVenue: High Wycombe Judo Centre\, Barry Close\, High Wycombe HP12 4UE \nTime:  \n\nSession 1 – 09:30 to 11:15am\n\nRegistration opens from 09:00am \n\nU10’S Born 2016 & 2017 (Minimum age of 8 on the day)\nMinors Born 2014 & 2015\n\n\n\n\nPre-Cadets Born *2012 & 2013\n\n\n\n*2nd Year Pre-Cadets (that are 55kg or higher\, 10th Mon or higher) are Welcome to attend both sessions (The Double) or 2nd session instead. \n\nSession 2 – 11:30 to 13:15pm\n\nRegistration open from 11:00am \n\nCadets Born 2009-2011\nJuniors Born 2006-2008\n\n\n\n\nSeniors & Masters Born 2005 or earlier\n\n\n\nMat fee: £5 per judoka payable to the NHC. All judoka must register in advance using the following Jot form https://pci.jotform.com/form/260463811049354 \nContact: Martin Rance – Email: nhccoaching@gmail.com \nParking Information: High Wycombe Judo Centre has a large\, free car park on-site for visitors. \nCatering: The cafe at the High Wycombe Judo Centre is JB’s Bar and Cafe\, located upstairs inside the main building. It serves coffee\, cakes\, and other hot food\, and is a licensed bar. It features a viewing balcony overlooking the dojo. \nThis is a Northern Home Counties Area Event \nThe session provides NHC Judoka additional opportunity to train and increase their volume of Randori\, which is the fundamental training unit of Performance Judo and the long-term development of GB’s future elite fighters towards future Olympic and Paralympic Games. \nThe Area session will help deliver against three key areas: \n\nA clear need to increase “Time on Task” and increase randori volume.\n• Supplementing what a fighter’s club training can provide.\n• Increase the opportunity to do more judo training.\n\nThe session will be led by Martin Rance\, 5th Dan (NHC Area Technical and Coaching Lead)\, and supported by Coaches within the Northern Home Counties Area.
