DESCRIPTION:NHC Area Training – Randori Session \nDate: Sunday\, 21st Sept 2025 \nVenue: Bishops Stortford Judokwai\, The Herts & Essex Sports Centre\, Beldhams Lane\, Bishop’s Stortford\, CM23 5LH \nVisitors Welcome \nTime:  \n\nSession 1 – 09:30 to 11:15am\n\nU10’S Born 2016 & 2017 (Minimum age of 8 on the day)\nMinors Born 2014 & 2015\nPre-Cadets Born *2012 & 2013\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration opens from 09:00am \n*2nd Year Pre-Cadets (that are 55kg or higher\, 10th Mon or higher) are Welcome to attend both sessions (The Double) or 2nd session instead. \n\nSession 2 – 11:30 to 13:15pm\nCadets Born 2009-2011\nJuniors Born 2006-2008\nSeniors & Masters Born 2005 or earlier\n\n\n\n\nRegistration open from 11:00am \nMat fee: £5 per judoka payable to the NHC. All judoka must register in advance using the following Jot form  https://form.jotform.com/251964835668373 \nContact: Martin Rance – Email: nhccoaching@gmail.com \nParking Information: The parking at Herts & Essex Sports Centre is free to all our visitors. It is run independently by ParkingEye. Therefore\, it is essential that all visitors register their vehicles when parking in the centre car parks. Tablets for registering vehicles are on the front desk in the reception area. For more information about the parking and help regarding fines that may occur\, please come into site and see us at receptions or call on 01279 354109. \nThis is a Northern Home Counties Area Event \nThe session provides NHC Judoka additional opportunity to train and increase their volume of Randori\, which is the fundamental training unit of Performance Judo and the long-term development of GB’s future elite fighters towards future Olympic and Paralympic Games. \nThe Area session will help deliver against three key areas: \n\nA clear need to increase “Time on Task” and increase randori volume.\nSupplementing what a fighter’s club training can provide.\nIncrease the opportunity to do more judo training.\n\nThe session will be led by Martin Rance\, 5th Dan (NHC Area Technical and Coaching Lead)\, and supported by Coaches within the Northern Home Counties Area.
