DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS FULLY BOOKED\nBJA Safeguarding Children & Adults Course \nThursday 16th October 2025 – 13:00-16:00 – Online Interactive Classroom (via Microsoft Teams) \nRegister here to be informed on future course dates\nWe look forward to you joining us on the three-hour BJA Safeguarding Children & Adults Course. \nThis will be blended learning experience online with interactive activities\, you will need to have your camera on for the duration of this training. \nCourse aim & learning outcomes: \nAim: To promote best for Safeguarding with Children & Young People and Adults within the BJA \nYou must be aged 18 or over to attend this course\nLearning Outcomes: \n\nTo understand the policies\, procedures and legislation which underpin our role\nTo increase skills and confidence when engaging with safeguarding issues and in recognising the indicators of abuse\nTo promote best practice when contributing to ‘recognising\, responding\, referring & recording’ safeguarding concerns\nUnderstanding the impact of abuse and trauma on children\nTo gain up to date knowledge on current issues of risk that impact on Children & Young People\nTo raise awareness and familiarisation of BJA and local procedures relating to referrals & reporting\n\nBJA are offering the children & adult safeguarding course as an online interactive classroom for not just CWOs and Coaches as a validation and/or revalidation but this is open to referees\, officials\, Tournament Directors etc. Its about a space for learning and continuous professional development. \nWe look forward to seeing you on the training. \nTo clarify the duration of the course is 3 hours and this equates with national standards for a Level 2 Safeguarding course. \nCIMPSA Quality Assure all it’s products Annually in July & August 2025 our QA report enables us to continually review and update this learning experience.\n \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nFor further information on how we handle your data\, please read our Privacy Notice: https://www.britishjudo.org.uk/privacy-policy/ \n
