The course is split into 3 modules: \nModule 1. Kodokan 100 Waza \nThe objective of this module is to ensure that coaches have a good understanding of the Kodokan 100 Waza. We will discuss the classification of waza\, look at the differences between closely resembled waza\, and practice those waza that were not present in the previous BJA Dan Grade Syllabus (exploring both the Kodokan standards and contest variations). \nModule 2. Coaching Fundamental Skills \nThe objective of this module is to ensure that coaches are confident coaching fundamental judo skills. We will look at Nage-waza basics\, discuss movement phases and key elements\, and practice identifying and demonstrating coaching points for Nage-waza\, Katame-waza and transitions. \nModule 3.
