G40 3HG\n13th & 14th September 2025We’re excited to announce the return of The Gathering\, JudoScotland’s flagship development weekend — and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever!Hosted at the iconic Emirates Arena in Glasgow\, the 2025 Gathering will unite judoka from across the country for two action-packed days of high-quality coaching\, development workshops\, and community celebration. Headline Coach: Tato Grigalashvili \nWe are honoured to welcome Tato Grigalashvili as our headline guest for this year’s event. At just 25 years old\, Tato has firmly established himself as one of the most dominant and electrifying judoka on the world stage. His accolades include being a three-time World Champion\, Olympic Silver Medallist\, three-time European Champion\, and a two-time IJF World Masters Champion\, along with numerous medals on the IJF World Tour. \nTato’s judo embodies the essence of the Georgian style—an exhilarating fusion of traditional wrestling roots and modern judo techniques. This approach is characterised by explosive throws\, unyielding grip fighting\, and a relentless fighting spirit. His dynamic performances have not only earned him a place in judo history but also make him an inspiration to judoka worldwide. \nTraining with Tato offers a unique opportunity to learn from a true master of the sport\, whose passion and dedication continue to elevate the standards of judo globally. \n Who Can Attend? \nFor 2025\, we’re opening the mat to judoka aged 12 and above.
