DESCRIPTION:In 2023 British Judo launched the Finding Your Feet programme\, giving coaches an opportunity that not only enhances a coaching portfolio but also allows them to make a significant impact upon individuals’ lives in within their community. \nDeveloped in collaboration with the University of Hertfordshire and Anglia Ruskin University\, “Finding Your Feet”\, is a program designed to revolutionise how we approach falls among older adults. \nWe are now pleased to launch the second batch of “Finding Your Feet” Coach Education Workshop. This kata consists of 3 sets Dai-Ikkyo (Set 1)\, Dai-Nikyo (Set 2) and Dai-Sankyo (Set 3)\, each has 5 techniques of attack & defence. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your knowledge & understanding of how this aspect of Judo can be used for self-defence & as a method exercise. \nThis is a British Judo Association Licensed Coach Education Course which is worth one credit. \nThe course is limited to 10 places\, due to the size of the tatami. \nAll applicants must hold a current FULL BJA membership & be a minimum grade of 3rd Kyu (Green Belt). \nIdeally you would attend with a partner to practice with\, however we will endeavour to pair up individuals who attend the course. \nFurther information available from: petewhitfield62@gmail.com \nThis is a British Judo Association Licensed Coach Education Course
