A Gonosen No Kata course and exams will take place on Sunday 30th January 2022
Gonosen no Kata is the kata of counter throws and during the day candidates will be tutored in the Kata and for those who wish to hold a formal qualification will be tutored on the kata in preparation for a Level 1 Kata examination in the afternoon. Holders of Level 1 can be examined for level 2. This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a BJA Kata qualification and to further develop your judo skills. Those not wishing to take the exam are still welcome to attend the course which will also cover Kata requirements and Sections 5 and 9 of the Technical Dan Grade examination. There is no minimum Senior Grade requirement and Junior Judoka green belts aged 12 and over are welcome to attend.
