How will I access the new ā€˜Dojo’?

From Monday 18th July, members will receive an email containing information and access links to the new British Judo memberships portal.

In order to receive the access link, members must provide a valid email address in the first instance on their dojo accounts. This must be checked and updated before the outage takes place 23:59pm Friday 24th June. Any members who do not have a valid email address on their current membership profile will NOT receive the email containing this information and therefore will NOT gain access to the new memberships portal.

I am logging into the new Dojo for the first time - What do I do?

All members should have received a link to the new Dojo. Use the link to take you to the log in page.

ALL members will need to reset their password when logging into the new Dojo for the first time. This can be done by entering your email address & then pressing the ‘forgot password?’ button.

When will I receive my email inviting me to logon to the new Dojo?

All members have been emailed with a link to enable access to their new Dojo account.

How do I take out a new membership?

If you are looking to take out a new British Judo membership or know somebody else who would like to, please visit the dojo and create an account.

New members will receive a temporary membership license which will act as proof of valid BJA membership status and insurance however,Ā membership packs and cards will not be sent out until a permanent number has been allocated via the new system.

Renewing my membership

BJA are unable to renew your membership on your behalf.

Please login to the Dojo website www.bjadojo.co.ukĀ 

Click on the ‘hamburger’ icon on the top left corner of your profile.

Click membership payments from the menu.

It’s saying my email doesn’t exist

Adding gradings to Dojo

Unfortunately, we are unable to process gradings. This feature will be rolled out as part of phase 2 release of Dojo.

Coaches/Officials access

I’ve logged in but I can’t see all my family members

Only add additional members if they are not currently a BJA member. Please do not re-add members as it will make a brand-new membership. If you can’t see the additional members you were expecting, please contact the Membership Team. Please do not try and add them to your account as this will generate a duplicate account with a different membership number with no grading history.

It’s not applying my family discount.

How do I add a member?

To add a new member to your existing account, click on the three horizontal lines in the top left of your screen and choose Add New Member from the menu. Complete the profile and click on ā€œAdd New Memberā€ at the very bottom of the screen.

I need to send in new Safeguarding, First Aid or Revalidation information

Unfortunately, we are unable to process these at the current time. This feature will be rolled out as part of phase 2 release of Dojo.

Can I still compete at competitions whilst the outage is taking place?

If you or your child wishes to take part in an upcoming competition during the outage. Please ensure that your license card and record book are presented during the registration/weigh-in at the competition. This will act as both proof of your BJA membership status and insurance.

How do I submit Dan Gradings during the outage?

BJA will continue to process Dan Grades during the system outage. Your Record Book will be signed and returned to you within 10 working days, however, your online record will not be updated until the system is back up and running. Please rest assured that once your book has been signed your grade is official

As BJA Staff will not have access to the system during the outage, please ensure that you enclose the following:

  • For competitive Grades, please send your Membership Card, Record Book, Points Card and Theory with a cover letter stating your current address, contact number and email.
  • For Technical Promotions, please send your Membership Card, Record Book and Technical Theory with a cover letter stating your current address, contact number and email. Please note that there is a Ā£50 charge for Technical Promotions, this can be paid by cheque or Debit/Credit card. If you would prefer to pay by card, one of the team will call for payment.

My coach license is due to expire during the CRM outage period.

If your coaching license is valid, you do not need to do anything, a new card will be sent to you in the post.

If any of your re-validations are due for renewal, please submit these by Thursday 23rd June to allow our Membership Team to process this information. Information should be sent to coaching@britishjudo.org.uk
