The club and all persons representing or acting on behalf of the club agree to uphold the values of the British Judo Association (Respect - Unity - Excellence - Trust - Integrity) and to foster and develop the sport in line with its inherent values and moral code.
The club's named chairperson, secretary, treasurer, head coach and club welfare officer hold current membership and any qualifications are valid and in date with all their positional requirements. The club also confirms that these details are correctly recorded and updated as required on the Dojo.
The club agrees to:
• abide by the Articles of Association and Byelaws, Child Protection Procedures and Equal Opportunities policy together with any amendments made during the period of membership
• has in place a written a constitution
• ensure that all judoka and coaches attending their sessions and competitions have a valid judo membership of the British Judo Association or its Associates BJC/AJA
• adhere to the minimum Health & Safety standards outlined in the British Judo Association Safelandings document, appendix 4
• carry out and maintain a venue risk assessment, for all venues and equipment used, to ensure they are suitable for judo
• adhere to the Association's Equality and Diversity Policy
• operate in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations
• adhere to the criteria and rules governing the Association's gradings, education and training programmes, competitions, talent and high-performance pathways
I confirm that I have consent from the individuals named in this application to submit their personal information to the British Judo Association and respective Home Nations. I understand that this is a requirement for any club taking out membership with the British Judo Association and that it will be used and stored as outlined in the British Judo Association and Home Nation's Privacy Statements.
