The British Judo Association are pleased to announce the launch of its new Safeguarding Adults policy to coincide with the National Safeguarding Adults week.
The Association would like to thank our Visually Impaired Performance squad, our Performance Welfare Officer, Eleanor Cantwell and Rush Judo Club for its invaluable feedback during the preparation to launch this document and the staff of the Ann Craft Trust for its guidance and support in its writing.
The Ann Craft Trust has a range of resources to assist with Safeguarding Adults which can be found here: https://www.anncrafttrust.org/events/
Here at British Judo we consider it vital to look after all participants and I hope that you will find this new policy a useful addition to SafeLandings. As ever, if you have any questions on Safeguarding children or adults, please get in touch.
If your club has any interesting features to support Safeguarding Adults week please let us know
