Q. What is the Team Judo card?
A. The Team Judo card is a loyalty membership card that replaces the "pink licence slip". As well as acting as proof of membership, it allows BJA Members to earn points when making purchases from British Judo and from hundreds of merchants online at www.teamcard.co.uk
Q. Does the Team Judo card replace the record book?
A. The Team Judo card does not replace the record book only the licence slip. It is proof of British Judo membership and insurance. It should therefore be taken to all judo sessions, gradings and competitions.
We recommend that the Team Judo card is kept with the record book and, therefore, we will supply sticky-backed plastic wallets that can be affixed to the front or rear cover of the record book - keeping the card both safe and clean.
Don't destroy your pink slips, as you may need them to prove continuous BJA membership for an honorary award one day.
Q. When will I receive my Team Judo card?
A. You will receive your new Team Judo card when you become a new BJA member or renew your BJA membership.
Q. Can I request a Team Judo card before my renewal date?
A. Yes, you can. There will be a small charge of £3 to replace your pink licence slip earlier than your renewal date.
Q. What is www.teamcard.co.uk?
A. This is the official TeamCard website, where points can be earned with over 450 well-known, big-name retailers. Special offers and voucher codes can be found and balance of points can be checked here too.

Q. How do I register my Team Judo card?
A. To register, simply visit www.teamcard.co.uk and follow the simple steps. You'll be asked for a few details to set up your account, including your TeamCard number (this is the 14 digit number found below the barcode on the back of your card), email address, username and password.
Once your registration is complete, you'll be sent a confirmation email and that's it. You'll be ready to start collecting TeamCard points and reaping the rewards.
Q. Does my TeamCard number replace my BJA licence number?
A. No it works in tandem with it. Your BJA licence number is still your number of record for all your Judo activity and is printed on the front of your card. Your TeamCard number is the key when shopping online and accessing your account on the TeamCard website.
Q. In addition to my TeamCard points, can I still collect my Tesco Clubcard points, Nectar points, Boots Advantage points etc?
Q. How do I earn TeamCard points
A. After you've successfully registered, simply login to your TeamCard account each time you shop online.
Please ensure you always login to your account before making any online purchases with TeamCard partners, otherwise your points will not be registered.
Q. If I should keep my Team Judo card with my record book then how do I know my TeamCard number when I shop online?
A. You will need your TeamCard number to register on the TeamCard site. Once you have set-up your username and password then your TeamCard number is linked to your account. You can shop without your Team Judo card from then on.
Please note that you will need your TeamCard number when you redeem your points.
Q. How many points will I get for shopping with TeamCard merchants?
A. Each TeamCard online merchant offers their own rate of points per £1 spent. See the full list of partners and their offers at www.teamcard.co.uk.
Q. How can I earn TeamCard points through British Judo?
A. You can earn TeamCard points for purchases made with British Judo's official online store at www.judostore.co.uk. You will earn 1 point for each full £1 spent.
Please note that you do not need to login into your account, via the TeamCard website, for purchases made through the Judo Store but you will need your TeamCard number.
Points will also be awarded for new and renewal membership as follows:

Q. Where/How can I redeem my points?
A. You can redeem your TeamCard points as full or part-payment of merchandise from the official British Judo online store at www.judostore.co.uk
Please note that the minimum redemption value for each transaction is £1 (100 points). Points cannot be redeemed and earned on the same order.
You can also donate some/all of your points to your club or to the British Judo Trust by visiting your Team Judo redemption page at www.teamcard.co.uk.
Q. How much is a point worth?
A. Each TeamCard point earned is worth 1p - so if, for example, you've earned 1000 points you can redeem £10 off your British Judo merchandise purchases or donate £10 to your Club.
Q. Why would I want to collect points?
A. Collecting TeamCard points costs you nothing but could benefit you, your Club, British Judo and your fellow judoka (through the official British Judo charity). You simply complete your regular online shopping through the TeamCard website, accessing many of the same retailer websites with the same deals.
Remember, you can donate your points to your Club so that they can use them to lower the cost of items like new mats or you can donate the points to the British Judo Trust.
Q. Where can I check my points balance?
A. Visit the 'My TeamCard' page at www.teamcard.co.uk. This will take you to your personal account page where you can check your current balance and see the history of your transactions.
Please note it may take up to 48 working hours before you see details of your awarded points.
Points also remain pending for the duration of the returns period for online transactions (usually 28 days) before being awarded to your account.
Until points are awarded they cannot be redeemed.
Q. What happens to my TeamCard points when my BJA membership expires?
A. TeamCard points expire when BJA membership expires. Please do not lose your TeamCard points by failing to renew your membership on time. Renewing by direct debit is the safest way to ensure that you protect yourself and your points.
Q. What do I do if my Team Judo card is lost or stolen?
A. Please contact the British Judo Membership Team on 01509 631670. There will be a £3 charge for a replacement card. Your original card will be cancelled and "hot-listed" to protect your points.
