Promotions/Gradings Commission

Reviews and refine the processes for assessing BJA members’ technical and contest ability in order to award grades fairly and credibly.

Ensure that accurate records are kept of members’ grades by the D of E and NDGR.

Consults with and inform Examiners and D of E regarding changes to the promotions structure of the BJA.

Provides inclusive opportunities for all BJA members to gain promotion as specified by the BJA equity plan.

To be mindful of health and safety issues regarding the assessment of BJA members for promotions.
