Former world champions to lead Super Camp

Three former world champions will pass on their expertise to the next generation as Pinewood Judo Club hosts a ‘Super Camp’ from Thursday 11 to Saturday 13 April.

The camp for judoka aged 10-18 is being run by Core Judo Coaching which was founded in 2007 by Commonwealth Champion and Pinewood club member Jonathon Purssey.

Three standout European judoka, who have all worn world championship gold, have been recruited as Britain’s Craig Fallon will team up with France’s Darcel Yandzi and the Netherlands’ Guillaume Elmont.

The camp will integrate technical development with contest-based randori and has already had entries from clubs in from France, Netherlands, Belgium and the home nations.

A residential place costs £200 (meals included, 2 nights accommodation at a Travelodge based on three people to a room) while non-residential costs £150.

Group discounts are available on request.

The camp takes place at Pinewood Judo Club, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG40 3AQ.
