UNIVERSITY JUDO CLUB DEVELOPMENT HANDBOOK

This handbook has been produced to assist students and University Athletic Unions, who are in the position of running a judo club within a University or FE College, or who would like to form one in their particular institution. The handbook incorporates all aspect of establishing, running, developing and sustaining a University Judo club, and has been endorsed by the BJA.

Dr. Tony Buley, the author, has over 50 years of involvement with University Judo having originally joined the Oxford University Club as a beginner in 1958, becoming Secretary the following year and President in 1962. In 1988 he became the Senior Member and is now Chairman of Oxford Judo which is a close federation of the Oxford City and University Clubs with a joint current membership of circa 150.
