Britain won four medals at the Rotterdam
Super World Cup, which took place from the 28th-30th September.
On day one James Millar (Edinburgh) took silver in the -60kg and
is now in 5th place in the EJU ranking list (discounting those
already qualified).
Sarah Clark (Edinburgh),
in the –63kg weight category, and Matthew Purssey (Edinburgh),
in the –73kg weight category both won bronzes. Clark is
now sitting in an Olympic qualification position with Purssey
edging closer qualification zone.
On the third and final
day, Michelle Rogers (Scottish Institute of Sport) clinched gold
in the –78kg weight category. The win for Rogers follows
her gold at the Estonia World Cup just one week also and also
leaves her in the qualification zone and ranked number one Europe.
The entire team performed
well and saw Sophie Johnston (-52kg), and Iain Feenan (-73kg)
finishing in 5th places, and Sarah Adlington (+78kg) and Sally
Conway (-70kg) finishing in 7th place.
