National Refereeing Commission For The British Judo Association

The NRC is currently looking to recruit an exceptional individual to join the commission.

The NRC deal with all refereeing matters i.e. promotion of junior and senior referees, implementation of rules changes, international selection of international referees, calling of referee’s for National events, co-ordination of examinations, coaching, assessments, complaints, support and assist at the organisation of select events on behalf of the British Judo Association.

The position requires a dedicated individual who is able to commit to the demands of the role. Meetings are held at least 8 times a year (maybe more if situations arise) and will usually be held at Head Office, Loughborough.

The post holder will:-

 

  • Need to be a minimum of a National ‘A’ Referee
  • Excellent organisational and communications skills which are essential.
  • Committee experience within the sport of Judo - preferable not essential
  • Access to the internet and must have email

 

The specific duties of the successful applicant will depend on the applicant’s skills and will be decided with mutual agreement of the successful applicant and the commission.
