The Midlands Area Open monthly randori session, held at Wolverhampton University- Walsall campus, had over 50 Judoka practising together on the mat on Wednesday (9 th April). This is thanks to key performance clubs in the area working together to promote the session and get bodies on the mat!

Judo players around the country will know the importance of having high quality training partners to practice and this provides the perfect opportunity.

The next session will be the Wednesday14th May.

The North West area is following the example of the Midlands and has initiated a similar concept at Wigan JC. The first session being on Tuesday 29 th April, then Tuesday 3 rd June and subsequently the first Tuesday of the month.
